Intertwined
In my series “Human-Nature Intertwined” I create fanciful landscapes by combining the human form with multiple nature-scapes. The interplay of black & white forms overlaid with details of flowers, rock surfaces, water droplets, takes on the function of strata. The work has expanded the use of natural elements to include scenes of nature during times of growth and decay. The textures from flowers, rock, and the human form create organic shapes and forms drawing the viewer into my world. The shapes and textures form a tenuous bond between the organic and the inorganic.
